About us

RDAPC is dedicated to “Helping People Make a Total Change.” We believe in recovering and empowering lives through positive counseling and helping people reestablish ties with their families, schools, and communities. RDAPC is certified by the State of California as an outpatient alcohol and drug prevention program. Founded in 2013, our program will help people address their addictions and turn their lives around. RDAPC serves the City of Compton, the surrounding communities, and the County of Los Angeles.

Rehoboth Drug and Alcohol Prevention Center (RDAPC) provides professional alcohol and substance abuse treatment to people suffering from these diseases of addiction, even if these people are unable to pay for the cost of their services. The vision of the Rehoboth Drug and Alcohol Prevention Center organization is to provide individualized services that result in long-term elimination of substance abuse and improved functioning in all areas of the client’s life. Secondarily, Rehoboth Drug and Alcohol Prevention Center services will benefit the client’s family and the community at large.

Treatment programs such as those at Rehoboth Drug and Alcohol Prevention Center offer a solution for those who suffer from drug and alcohol addiction. Researchers found that drug-treatment programs: 1. Cut overall drug use in half; 2. Reduce the number of dollars spent on drugs by two-thirds; 3. Cut arrests by two-thirds; 4. Cut homelessness by about 40%; 5. Increase employment; 6. Cut welfare; and 7. Reduce medical visits, mental health problems, and HIV risk behaviors.

In the past year, approximately telephone calls were received from people inquiring about treatment. Because of the high demand for our services and a lack of funding to provide them to those without the financial means to pay for these services, we are asking for your support to help ensure that RDAPC can provide high-quality addiction recovery services to adults and adolescents in need. We respectfully request a $X,000 contribution from the FOUNDATION to support Rehoboth Drug and Alcohol Prevention Center and the programs and services we provide.
